2025年，是“十四五”規(guī)劃沖刺收官之年，

2025 marks the final sprint to complete the 14th Five-Year Plan

是“十五五”規(guī)劃謀篇布局之年。

and the pivotal year for mapping out the 15th Five-Year Plan.

During his latest inspection tour in Shanghai,

對上海發(fā)展作出新的戰(zhàn)略擘畫、戰(zhàn)略指引，

General Secretary Xi Jinping set forth a new strategic vision for the city,

賦予為國擔當、勇為尖兵的重大使命，

entrusting Shanghai with the vital mission of shouldering national responsibilities and striving to be a vanguard.

全市人民備受鼓舞、倍感振奮。

These instructions have profoundly heartened and energized the people across the city.

這一年，我們全力促進經(jīng)濟平穩(wěn)健康發(fā)展，

Over the past year, we have spared no effort in promoting steady and healthy economic growth,

with its stable upward trajectory gaining further ground.

Measures to expand consumption, such as trade-in programs for consumer goods

and “Joy Shanghai” service consumption vouchers, have gained synergy,

文旅商體展加速融合，

while the integration of culture, tourism, commerce, sports, and exhibitions has accelerated,

highlighted by a series of major museum exhibitions, sporting events, and shopping festivals.

科技創(chuàng)新引領新質生產(chǎn)力發(fā)展壯大，

With technological innovation driving new quality productive forces,

集成電路、生物醫(yī)藥、人工智能

our three leading industries, namely integrated circuits, biomedicine and AI,

三大先導產(chǎn)業(yè)培育成勢、快速增長，

have gained strong momentum and rapid growth.

上海經(jīng)濟頂壓前行、向新向優(yōu)發(fā)展。

Despite headwinds, Shanghai’s economy continues to trend toward innovation-led and high-quality development.

浦東引領區(qū)建設邁出新步伐，

The development of Pudong as a leading area for socialist modernization has made fresh strides,

自貿試驗區(qū)及臨港新片區(qū)

and a series of institutional opening-up achievements from the Pilot Free Trade Zone

一批制度型開放成果復制推廣，

and the Lingang Special Area have been replicated and scaled up.

虹橋國際開放樞紐能級持續(xù)提升，

The Hongqiao International Opening-up Hub has seen a continuous expansion of its capacity,

東方樞紐國際商務合作區(qū)

and the Eastern Hub International Business Cooperation Zone

先行啟動區(qū)通過國家級驗收，

has passed national acceptance inspection.

長三角一體化發(fā)展走深走實，

As the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta has gained deeper and substantive progress,

第八屆進博會圓滿成功舉辦，

and the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) concluded successfully,

the synergy of major national strategies has been translated into

這一年，我們全力推進民心工程辦好民生實事，

中心城區(qū)零星舊改和

The city has reached a historic milestone with the completion of urban renewal of scattered old areas in central districts

“拎馬桶”難題得到歷史性解決，

and the elimination of housing units without private sanitation facilities.

“千座公園”城市提前建成，

With the “City of a Thousand Parks” goal attained ahead of schedule,

市民的生活環(huán)境更加宜居安居、舒適便利；

the urban environment has become more livable, secure, and convenient for all residents.

社會保障標準穩(wěn)步提高，

Social security benefits have seen steady increases,

家門口的養(yǎng)老服務站持續(xù)織密網(wǎng)絡，

the network of community-based eldercare stations has expanded its reach,

中小學教室加裝空調實現(xiàn)全覆蓋，

and all primary and secondary school classrooms are equipped with air conditioners.

優(yōu)質醫(yī)療資源進一步下沉社區(qū)，

We have extended more high-quality medical resources to the community level,

生育支持、免陪照護等惠民服務優(yōu)化提升，

and optimized public benefit services including birth support and companion-free care in hospitals.

上海這座現(xiàn)代化人民城市，

As a modern city built for and by its people,

不斷展現(xiàn)人民美好生活新圖景。

Shanghai continues to unveil a new vision of a better life for all.
