Emperor Huizong

做了336件

commissioned the making of 336 Dasheng Bells.

它的原型其實(shí)是

Their prototype was actually

春秋時(shí)期（的宋公成鐘）

the Songgongcheng Bell of the Spring and Autumn period.

目前全世界海內(nèi)外加起來(lái)

Across the world today, both in China and abroad,

存世的只有二十多件

only just over twenty examples survive.

這三個(gè)琮式瓶

These three Vases in the Shape of Cong

是起源于新石器時(shí)代

draw on a form that dates back to the Neolithic period,

是祭祀的功能

when the original cong served ritual purposes.

到了南宋的時(shí)候

By the Southern Song period,

已經(jīng)能夠當(dāng)成花瓶來(lái)使用

this form had been adapted for use as flower vases.

孔雀明王像

This statue of Mahamayuri on Peacock

這樣的造型非常罕見(jiàn)

features a remarkably rare design

是一個(gè)漢藏結(jié)合的形式

that embodies a fusion of Han and Tibetan aesthetics.

The Xuande Censer is a distinctive type of bronze vessel

named after the Xuande reign title of the Ming dynasty.

“Made during the Xuande Reign of the Ming Dynasty.”

This piece stands as the sole authoritative standard.

你看有雁

You can see geese,

鴨 還有獅子

ducks, and even lions—

這些都是作為熏爐

all of these were used as incense burners.

古代仕女還把它放在衣裙下面

In ancient times, ladies even placed them under their skirts,

好像現(xiàn)代香水一樣的功能

using them much like perfume today.

這件的玄妙之處

The ingenious design of this piece

站到花的后面去來(lái)觀看

reveals itself when you stand behind the flower:

香煙從獸嘴噴出

the incense smoke drifts out of the creature’s mouth,

有嗅覺(jué)跟視覺(jué)的雙重的共感體驗(yàn)

creating a combined experience of sight and scent.

福建出土的兩只螃蟹非常的生動(dòng)

The two crabs excavated in Fujian are exceptionally vivid.

原本是分開(kāi)來(lái)的

They were originally separate pieces,

但是因?yàn)槁裨谕晾飼r(shí)間長(zhǎng)了

but after being buried underground for so many years,

兩個(gè)就銹蝕在一起了

they corroded and fused together,

反而非常生動(dòng)有趣

which makes them all the more lively and intriguing.

這套的文具的特別之處是在于

What makes this set of stationery remarkable is that

使用者是一個(gè)英國(guó)人

its owner was a British scholar

他翻譯了大清律例

who translated the Great Qing Code into English.

他非常崇尚中國(guó)的文化

He held deep admiration for Chinese culture.

兩件雙鳳壺

Here are two Vases with Double Phoenixes:

這件是乾隆皇帝所鑄造的

one was imperially commissioned during the Qianlong reign,

這件是法國(guó)仿乾隆的雙鳳壺

and the other is a French imitation of it.

它的形制紋飾甚至是鎏金的部分

Its form, motifs, and even its gilded details

全部一模一樣

are replicated exactly.

這是一個(gè)非常有趣的文化互動(dòng)的現(xiàn)象

It is a fascinating example of cultural exchange.
